Activity Calendar  A month-by-month, quick overview of the special events you can celebrate in your classroom.

CK-12 CK-12 is comprised of free, open access resources for both teachers and students including online textbooks, lesson plans, worksheets, and much more. The site has both a student and teacher view, and on the homepage, subjects are broken down by category. Lesson plans include activities, videos, practice worksheets, and many include study aids with flashcards. Interactive activities are available for all subjects on the site, though using this option does require a free account with CK-12. CK-12 is accessible via a web browser but is also available as an app on iOS and Android devices. All FREE!

The purpose of this site seeks to educate parents, teachers, and others about the opportunities and benefits available to young people in the military today.

Nuclear Connect  STEM educators may want to peruse this collection of classroom resources offered by the American Nuclear Society (ANS). These resources include classroom experiments and lesson plans, as well as downloadable fact sheets and posters. These educational materials are hosted by the Center for Nuclear Science and Technology Information, an outreach initiative of the ANS that seeks to "encourage and inspire fun nuclear education for K-12 students.

Ocean Literacy Courses The world's oceans are enormously influential for life on Earth (both human and otherwise), but many people do not fully understand or appreciate the complexities of oceans and their impact on human lives. To help address this, the non-profit organization Ocean Wise has created several online ocean literacy courses that may be of interest to educators, students, and the generally curious.
